My wife and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary by taking the ASA-101 course last week. We had a great time, learned a lot in 2 days, and of course enjoyed the warmer weather (much warmer than MN). After having sailed on my sunfish sailboat for the past 8 years, I finally learned some theory behind sailing. We hope to be able to put our training to use this next summer on some of the lakes of Minnesota.
We took a week long couse last May...then chartered in October... best thing a person can learn to do... can't wait to charter again... SmarterSail you rock!
Hubby and I just finished ASA 101/103 this week with Smarter Sail here in St. Pete, Fl. Had a great instructor. We had private lessons on our boat and our schedule. Learned so much and has boosted our confidence level. If you need lessons the instructors at Smarter Sail are patient and very knowledgeable and I highly recommend them.
